1. Information We Collect

When you create a Plumics account, we collect information such as your username, email address, and password (stored encrypted). When you use the Platform, we may also collect usage data, device information, and browsing history within the Platform to improve your experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services; process transactions; send you technical notices and support messages; and respond to your questions. We may also send promotional communications, from which you can opt out at any time.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate the Platform (hosting, payments, analytics), as long as they agree to keep this information confidential. Payments are processed by our providers (Stripe, mobile money operators via PawaPay): Plumics never stores your card numbers or mobile money PINs.

Sharing with the creators you follow (legitimate interest)

When you follow a creator or one of their series, that creator may obtain, from their Creator Studio, an audience export containing only your username, country and language — never your email address, real name or payment details. This processing relies on the legitimate interest of Plumics and of creators in knowing and informing their community; it is enabled by default when your account is created.

You may object at any time, without giving a reason, by turning off "Creators I follow can contact me" in your account preferences, or by making your follow list non-visible. The objection applies immediately to all subsequent exports.

4. Cookies & Tracking

The Platform uses cookies strictly necessary for operation (session, security, language preference). No third-party advertising cookies are set.

5. Retention & Security

Your data is retained for as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

6. Your Rights

In accordance with applicable regulations, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data, as well as the right to object to and restrict its processing. You can exercise these rights from your account settings or by writing to us.

7. Minors

The Platform classifies content by age rating (`all ages` to `18+`). Adult-only content requires an age-confirmed account and is never shown to signed-out visitors.
